Research Interest

 Electrohydrodynamic and aerodynamic fiber-forming techniques (electrospinning, solution blowing, supersonic nanoblowing, electrospraying, and inkjet printing) 

 Multiscale metal-plated fibers (transparent conducting film, transparent heater, multi-functional sensor, electrostatic air filter, cooling materials, and endovascular coiling) 

 Fiber-based triboelectric and piezoelectric energy harvesters 

 Secondary batteries (anode materials of Li-ion battery and flexible thin electrodes of supercapacitor) 

 Extrinsic self-healing materials (core-shell-structured vascular self-healing fibers) 

 Bioinspired and environmentally friendly materials (thorny devil nanofibers, biopolymer nanofibers, soft actuator for artificial muscle, etc.) 

 Viscoelastic polymeric materials (mechanical, rheological, and hyperelastic behaviors of polymer fibers) 

 Heat transfer applications (air cooling layer/film, pool boiling, and heat-pipe) 

 Photocatalysis applications (water purification, water splitting, and anti-microbial films) 

 Membranes (water/oil separation, water purification, and anti-fungal membranes)
