Professor Lim was recognized for developing the world’s first immune-modulation platform and demonstrating, through preclinical studies, its potential as a therapeutic candidate for immuno-oncology and infectious diseases, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS). He was also commended for contributing to the practical application and industrial dissemination of advanced therapies for intractable cancers and infectious diseases through successful technology transfer to industry.
